Bus<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nBefore the trip it seems complicated but it’s actually very easy<\/em> <\/span>to take the bus in Sri Lanka! The buses to take are the red<\/em> <\/span>ones. If you are at a bus station, ask for the right bus, there are usually agents (in shirt) who will tell you. TukTuk drivers also generally indicate well. If you are on the roadside, go to a bus stop (well where there is a small bus sign), signal to the first red bus that passes. He will tell you if he’s going where you want or not. The bus is really very cheap<\/em> <\/span>(a hundred rupees for a hundred miles). Tuktuk et taxi<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe price of a TukTuk is about 50 LKR per km<\/em><\/span>. Ask before what will be the price of the race because for the same journey the price may vary.<\/span><\/p>\nA taxi \/ driver is usually quite expensive compared to other transport. However, this can be useful<\/em> <\/span>if there are no direct lines and you have big luggage to carry.<\/span><\/p>\n\n- \n
Plug socket (for european people)<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nYou won’t have any issue<\/em><\/span> using a battery charger eg (cable without ground wire), there are two options :<\/span><\/p>\n– either the socket blocks have 3 different systems and you can directly plug in the bottom left<\/em><\/span> your charger<\/span>
\n– either there is only the Sri Lankan system and then proceed as follows :<\/span><\/p>\n*\u00a0switch off the plug (switch up, you should not see a red point)
\n<\/span> *\u00a0<\/em>push a pen <\/span>into the top hole to unlock the system<\/em>
\n<\/span> * plug your charger down<\/em><\/span>

ATM<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nYou can easily find ATM in Sri Lanka, however it’s rare to find one without a local commission. Cash payment is the most common in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n\n- \n

\n– Colombo, Kandy, big cities, not really my thing it that country<\/span>
