Once my car bought, and after 1 month spent at Melbourne<\/a>, I decided to go see the Koalas at Raymond Island! Good news from the first day of my trip, I got a job in the bush that started 2 weeks later. I had plenty of time to discover the Victoria \u00a0\ud83d\ude09 .<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Access<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Raymond island is a small island near Paynesville 300km east of Melbourne. It’s accessed via a small free ferry for pedestrians. Namely that parking is free for 2 hours at the port, more than enough to admire these beautiful koalas. There is a free camp north of Bairnsdale where I was able to sleep for the first time in my new car (and the second night I tested the tent!).<\/span><\/p>\n

      The Koalas<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      I dreamed of my meeting with the koalas! Of course with respect for animals (going to zoos cuddling them is considered animal cruelty!). I finally went there twice! I was not satisfied with my first photos … Very important because I would like to later tattoo my second calf with one of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

      You will find some everywhere on the island but a small preserved forest increases your chances to see all the trees \ud83d\ude09 . Be careful, they pee from the tree so when they move do not stay underneath, it’s for your good \u00a0\ud83d\ude1b .<\/span><\/p>\n
