From Paris it&#8217;s quite convenient, there is the highway almost to the finish! For around forty euros in toll &#8230; This town is best known for the Vend\u00e9e globe! World famous nautical race.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Useful information<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;\">Accomodation<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I chose to stay in a small <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/fr\/fg-studio-les-embruns.fr.html?label=gen173nr-1DCAEoggI46AdIM1gEaE2IAQGYAQ24ARfIAQzYAQPoAQGIAgGoAgO4Asa2uf4FwAIB0gIkMDUyOGQ5ZmUtOGQxMi00NWQ3LTk5OGEtMzE2YmM3ZjYwODZm2AIE4AIB;sid=c691d9f983db2c6116cba0ea2a581f7d;dest_id=-1445718;dest_type=city;dist=0;from_beach_non_key_ufi_sr=1;group_adults=1;group_children=0;hapos=1;hpos=1;no_rooms=1;req_adults=1;req_children=0;room1=A;sb_price_type=total;sr_order=popularity;srepoch=1607359416;srpvid=7321759bf36a016b;type=total;ucfs=1&amp;#hotelTmpl\">studio<\/a> near the promenade. It was perfect for me, a small terrace, a kitchen so as not to always eat outside, etc. But it&#8217;s really small so I don&#8217;t necessarily recommend for two. I got it for 223E for 4 nights. Note that it was possible to park in the street for free (be careful of changing sides every two weeks!).<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;\">Restaurants<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I had the opportunity to test several restaurants during my stay, here are my opinions \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 8pt;\">Au bout du quai<\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Restaurant with a nice terrace, quite quiet (not the most touristic side). The food is good but personally I was hungry when I left &#8230; And (at the time anyway) they did not take the restaurant ticket card &#8230; It&#8217;s a little fail for me!<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 8pt;\">Le Pierrot<\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">On the more touristic side, I had the opportunity to test several restaurants. I found it very pleasant (already on the terrace on the promenade I can only agree). The food is also very good.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 8pt;\">Cr\u00eaperie le Triskell<\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">There for once I got my money&#8217;s worth! The crepes are really filling. The small downside is that it&#8217;s a bit too filling. But frankly for the price I say yes!<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 8pt;\">P\u00e9tales de roses<\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">It&#8217;s not strictly speaking a restaurant but a homemade waffle \/ ice cream shop. I had a lot of luck because I managed to have the last waffle of the day \ud83d\ude42 It must be said that they are always full and that they are even obliged to refuse customers at closing time. they don&#8217;t want to stay all night \ud83d\ude09<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Having rented a studio I also cooked!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Visits<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">This week was above all about rest! And after a misfortune (breakdown on the highway) I had only one idea in mind: relaxation! So I did not go to visit the surroundings, I stayed to walk around and enjoy the seaside. But be aware that you can visit the salt marshes around.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;\">&#8220;petite jet\u00e9e&#8221; side<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I found the trip very pleasant on this side! We can walk on the pier near the lighthouse. There is also a very pretty priory! Some old buildings are preserved. Some recent ones are done in the same spirit.
