So I took a few extra days in September to go to the seaside. I chose Alicante as my destination!<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: arial black, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Useful information<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;\">Hostel<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I had booked at the hostel <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/es\/hostal-numero-trece-alicante.fr.html?aid=304142\">Numero Trece<\/a>, best hostel ever! Brand new and really well thought out (we have a &#8220;private&#8221; space with a curtain, a shelf, a cupboard, electrical outlets. And there is a very cute little terrace! With the covid I was even alone at the beginning for a huge room! This for 58E for three nights. Then the means of transport that I preferred is the tram! The price of the ticket depends on the number of zones crossed: 1.35 \u20ac (1 zone), 2.50 \u20ac (2 zones), 3.75 \u20ac (3 zones), 4.85 \u20ac (4 zones), 6.05 \u20ac (5 zones), 7.15 \u20ac (6 zones).<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: arial black, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Day 1<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">On the first day (the day after my arrival as I arrived late) I visited the older parts of Alicante. I wanted to go to the castle on foot through the ramparts! I was very happy to be in September and not in the hottest days of the year \ud83d\ude05. This second day I went to the beach in San Juan. It&#8217;s quite far from the center but definitely worth the trip! This is typically the type of beach that I like: large expanses of sand; a mainly &#8220;car-free&#8221; promenade with very pleasant terraces. Indeed the promenade is very nice but the main road (several lanes) passes between the promenade and the beach! And that ruins me a little the pleasure of strolling there.
